Noticed that J-S Dea was claimed by the Devils. Could be a smart pickup. Another Ray Shero Pens connection. Wonder if Dea has a Gibbons-like year.

Lazar and Hathaway are making the team as depth guys imo. Mangiapane, Andersson, Peluso and Kulak or Valmaki will be going down I think. When is Rittich going down

No real concern per say as there's still a few more days to send guys down.
If anything it means Dube, Mange and Valimaki didn't lock up any roster spots last night on paper however I believe the roster lock is on the 2nd so we have some time.

Teams don't need to have their opening day roster submitted to the league until October 2 5pm ET.

Still a few days left for players to be put on waivers to clear in time for that deadline.

Really October 1 is the last day for players to be put on waivers for the opening day roster.

Team practiced in San Jose today. Might make some waiver/roster moves to Stockton before their flight today.

~2 hour drive from San Jose to Stockton

He is probably staying up. Even so, there was no chance a goalie was going to be on today's wire with a final game on Saturday. I expect one or both Rittich and Gillies to play, and for one of them to be among the final cuts.
