I'm confused, Mark Letestu was on a PTO with Florida and was released from that contract on the 24th. Did he sign a contract with CBJ in the meantime and immediately get placed on waivers?

Looks like he has signed a two-way deal with the Jackets: https://www.cbssports.com/fantasy/ho...one-year-deal/
He went to Florida hoping for a one-way contract, but didn't get it.

Wrong.
Probably shoulda grabbed a scrub goalie with at least some NHL games to replace Lack who was a disaster, nay, a catastrophe.

What goalie hit waivers who was better than Rittich or Gillies and was unclaimed by the time Calgary got there?
