Costco Hoodies for Flames Fans

Hi all,

Costco stores in the Calgary area have sold Calgary Flames hoodies just before the start of each season the last several years but I can't find one this season. They are great for just hanging out in at the house.

The hoodies were always really nice quality with different designs and really cheap, like $22 and sometimes like $10 on clearance.

Has anybody seen them around town by any chance? If so, which location?

I'm pretty sure it was officially licensed, and I believe I remember seeing Johnny wearing them on practice days. Might have been part of the warmup kit.

NHL Licencing - Definitely overpriced

I don't have any photos of them but there has been several different variations and each time the quality has been excellent. They say "Official licenced product" I have seen them in Canucks and Oilers colours and logo's so this is a more of a NHL approved deal.


I loved them for the quality and the price, these hoodies at the Fan Attic store would be $50+ and than some given the quality. Perhaps the league or the teams decided it wasn't worth it if Costco was doing some serious volume and repricing the existing merchandise sales for the clubs.

I am just annoyed at the cost of NHL merchandise these days, even the most expensive jerseys, stitched with name and number from Great West Plains, the quality just isn't there. The new Adidas jerseys don't hold up to the RBK Edge jerseys from 2007 until maybe 2012??

Just have to get used to it I guess
