interesting. Solid first AHL year and the wheels kind of fell off.

Ha! Maybe hoping to try and get him and Curtis Lazar reunited to create some magic. Dude had some high point totals in the WHL but has done nothing since.

Interesting project. Had 40 points in his rookie season in the AHL, and then never could return to that form.

Steinberg says he is hearing 7 or 8 PTOs in total.
The ones that have been reported so far:
Falk, Glass, Svedberg, Shaw, Samuelsson.
So at least 2 more.

Samuelson was tracking so well a couple of years ago. Didnt have a serious leg injury that sidelined him? Im gonna look that up.
Interesting signing for a PTO. Young guy with good size.

Yeah. At the draft and subsequnt seasons he needed work on his skating. Then he suffered a setious ankle injury that required surgery and a large chunk of rehab. Combine mediocre skating with a rehabbed ankle its not rocket science as to why he fell off a cliff.
Perhaps he signs an AHL deal and gets to a normal skating pace. Not expecting much though. Too bad as the rest of the package is/was 1st round skill.

Seeing multiple reports that Samuelsson will actually head to Chicago's camp.

Played for 5 different AHL Teams over 5 years.. Either he's a disturbance, or his confidence is so shaken, he can't stick.
