Hmmm. Looks like perhaps another Pribyl-type, although smaller for sure.

I'm trying to remember...was he the guy on the Germany Olympic team that was really quick. I remember them having one guy that was super fast.

I'm not sure how out dated the NHLe calculations are, but if you take his last three seasons and apply the NHLe calculator, it comes out to 35 NHL points.
Of course, if they sign him he'll probably end up in the AHL anyways.
He's a left shot, he's not big.....if they sign him I hope he's at least fast.

I believe in the Jays.

Superficially I don't see the appeal. Undersized guy with "meh" Euroleague stats... but I like that they're casting the line into the Euro Free Agent fishing hole and worst case is that he's Farm depth so I approve.

interesting team he was on this year with plenty of Calgary and NHL connections....Steve Reinprecht...Dave Steckel...Brandon Segal..Tom Gilbert..John Mitchell...Milan Jurcina etc
Steve Reinprecht at age 42 is the league's oldest player!

Clearly our next savior. Let's pencil him in on the first line ala Kyle Greentree.

I predict he will get injured and miss most of the season Stockton and barely make an impact on the franchise

uh, pretty underwhelming. I was hoping this euro free agent would at least be a PPG player in their league

They have to ice two teams everyone... this is not related to the Calgary Flames lineup in any capacity.

ya, clearly just a depth signing and maybe 4th line upside if he's fast

I really hope so. You can never have too many fast and skilled players that can score in an organization. Even if he only ever plays in the AHL and puts pressure on our prospects to be better, he could be helpful.

I look forward to Treliving telling us this player isn't here to be the savior.

Can't find any youtube clips of him actually skating but I would have to think he must fast or what would be the point of signing him. Treliving has been talking about the focus on speed this off-season.

This could mean that Treliving is planning on elevating some of the forwards in Stockton, or cutting them completely.

I'm thinking Geoff Ward may have had input with bringing him over since he's coached in Germany.
