certainly overpaid, but big fan of De Haan and happy to finally get him after two previous GMs flipped him somewhere else instead. Forward depth allowed me to sacrifice Vanek to get a top 4 defenseman. Reilly was unusable for me this year due to his cap hit and Erne is a depth guy ... like I said, steep price to give up, but it made some sense from our point of view.
