Default POLL REQUEST - Which Legit Top 6 Forward Do You THINK The Flames Will Acquire?
It's no secret, Treliving will be hard after a legit top 6 forward to add to the forward group this off season, whether it be by trade or by UFA signing.

Like the title says, it's NOT who you WANT but who do you THINK they will acquire? If it was who we want the poll would be about 99% Tavares.

This is a legit top 6 forward who has already produced top 6 offense in the NHL fairly consistently. Not some under that radar guy who might turn into a top 6 NHL forward.

That's why I didn't list guys like Riley Nash, Derek Ryan, Kasperi Kapanen or Burakovsky.

I also tried to pick guys that have been rumored to be on the move, or are on teams who just changed GM's so likely have a better chance of being moved because of the regime change.

Let's see how many people can guess correctly.

My guess is the Flames go hard after Tavares, but he ends up signing elsewhere. At that point BT circles back around to Buffalo and completes a deal to acquire Ryan O'Reilly.

I think they will get the good old number 6 (Stastny), with a side of number 5 (Vanek), or a side of 27 (Riley Nash).
