The way the Avs ended the regular season gives them a shot at starting off the series well. They've been playing for their lives for months now so I wouldn't rule out an upset at all.

So as demonstrated by the Avs, 95 points was the magic number to get into the playoffs, not 96 after all as was widely projected. Nevertheless the Flames finished nowhere close to that...
