Default Has anyone ever traded a vehicle for a vehicle privately?

I’m looking at possibly trading a motorcycle for another motorcycle and am wondering how to do up the bill of sale and if there’s anything else I should be aware of, legally speaking etc.

Any help?

I traded a Jetta for a camping trailer last summer. In the cost box we just wrote traded for VIN serial# xxxxxxxxxxxxxx, and paid in full.

You can even just do normal Bill's of sale and fill out the vehicles value same as you would a normal sale. Government doesn't care how you got the car as long as you own it legally

Depends on the province. In SK you have to pay sales tax on trailers, bikes, and anything that is first time registered in SK. If you fudge values they can go with blue book or some reference they have.

Just assumed it was Alberta. BC would do it like you mentioned as well I believe
