We didn't want to give up two picks. Frolik has a decent rating this year but is having his worst season of the past 5 years.
But...he's due for a grid and we think it's a good gamble to ink him for 3 more years at his upcoming re-rate cost.
Before the playoffs begin, we had a few things that needed to be addressed:
We needed some depth for the playoffs and think Frolik slots well as an upgrade on the 3rd who can also move up and down if needed.
Our PK is 5th worst in the league and our shots against has increased quite a bit in the past 2 months.
Frolik becomes the 2nd highest defensively rated forward on our team, and we're hoping those two stats can improve.
