I'm curious to see how Kane plays tonight. Was game 1 with the sharks just the adrenaline or will he be that good for them?

I fully expect we'll see all the teams we're chasing get wins tonight. Punishment from the hockey gods for losing the way we did against the Avs last night.

Hockey gods or other teams turning up the intensity while the flames crumble under the pressure?

Man, Debrusk got high sticked, knocked his head back and dropped his stick...how dare he not get an embellishment call.

The Penguins and Bruins are playing shoot out the lights hockey. It is 4-2 Boston just twelve minutes into the game!

7 goals in the first period so far for Pit/Bos. What a game.

Edit: 8 at the end of the first. I hope they can continue this pace.

Now 8 goals.... Tuukka Rask is bad, bad, bad tonight. Horrible goal given up there. 5-3 Bruins

The Panthers have a 1-0 lead in the first period and the Hurricanes are up 2-0 in the second period. Those teams are chasing the BJs for the last playoff spot in the eastern conference. The three Metropolitan teams currently playing are all losing in what is a four horse race in that division.

Great look by Nick Holden to a wide open David Krejci going to the net and he just easily flips it past Tristan Jarry. Bruins up 6-3.

6'7" Oleksiak just fought 6'9 Chara.

Pretty even tilt too!

Maybe the Pens should have traded for a backup goalie?

Especially since Murray is kind of injury prone.

Half-watching the game, look up and see the tilt start, and my first thought is "did Chara get shorter?"

That was sweet!

8-3 Pens goalie sliding all over the place. Brutal. I don't think I've ever seen 2 backups look so bad.

Also Boston player's are idiots. Up by 5 goals and trying to crush players. I think this 3rd period is going to be fun.

I am enjoying this game. I hate the Penguins. 10+ on those d-bags would be good, but watch out for crybaby Crosby's cheapshots to the balls.

McDavid slashes a stick out of Ekholm's hands and then scores. Called a "crafty" play by Remenda.
