Default David Poile, Predators GM becomes winningest GM of All Time

Appropriately former Flames Asst GM under Cliff Fletcher, Nashville GM David Pole, passes Glen Sather to become the winningest GM of all time with his 1320th win against the Oilers tonight.

Remarkable achievement which will probably stand forever.

Started as a GM with Washington, at 32, in 1982.

Congratulations!

The big prize still eludes him. Perhaps this year.

I have respected Poile for a long time, but I have to admit that this record surprised me. Although thinking about it, it definitely isn't shocking.

Congrats to a good GM, a good man, and a great hockey mind! When he ever retires, he should be a first ballot in the HHOF in the builders category. I couldn't imagine where Nashville would have been without him running the show.

I still can’t believe he was on the right end of such a lopsided trade, Erat for Forsberg. Wow.

If only we could've fleeced someone like that when we traded Iggy. Ugh.
