Flames fall apart again ... Lose 5-2 to the Avs
Bye bye playoffs, but hey, only 17 games left of the Gulutzan era. Tre’s win now moves would’ve likely paid off if he hadn’t made a crucial mistake with his coaching hire.

Among many problems for this team right now. I've noticed recently how weak they are on the puck. So easy to knock these guys off it or strip them. I watch a team like the Kings or whoever, and they are hard on the puck. This is a fragile, weak team. This game is another example. Another collapse.
The coaching staff should not have lasted this late into the season. Too many signs of just bad, bad coaching, and these results are showing. Treliving really needed to take action there. Playoffs hopes are fading. Fast.
Also, the refereeing was a putrid pile of ****. Complete joke.

Daryl was known for making the team empty the tank.
Hartley was known for keeping belief in the players and never quitting.
What is GGs strongest trait that has got him to the NHL? Obviously there is something or you don’t get this far.... what is it?

The team is mentally weak. The responsibility starts with the coach - he has to put them in the right mental space to achieve. The game isn't just Xs and Os.

Bench minor, bs embellishment call, best payer thrown out of the game. Gonna take a break from watching the NHL, what an awful officiated game this was.
Losing to the Avs is inexcusable, that was not a good team they just played

Giordano is a stud. He plays with intensity night in night out. He is a mentally strong player. The rest of the roster was rattled from that first goal on.

Top line a detriment again tonight.
Heck, even though the 3M line scored both goals, Tkachuk took 2 awful selfish penalties.
