Default December 16 with ten games!

The Saturday OOT should be a good one and there are four Pacific Division teams in action.

I'm not sure how any team could beat the Oilers. It's just unpossible.

Holy crap, Edmonton won. Cup parade back on! Talbot for the Vezina!

Their next two games are against the Sharks and Blues, so I fully expect their usual win one/lose one pattern to be broken with back to back losses.

Just saw the replay of the second oiler goal, Mcdavid completely gifted that second assist. Suter cleaely hits it back before Lucic shovels it to Draisaitl.

I've seen plenty of plays for the Flames where the league has not been favourable giving out assists that are automatic for McDavid. He's already a good player, they don't need to gift him more points than he deserves.

The one good thing about Sportsnet taking the NHL rights from CBC is that my tax dollars aren't subsidizing Don Cherry's inane ranting any longer.

Stupid Kings let the Islanders go ahead and then score with 13 seconds left. At least they lost it in OT for the loser point.

Final scores
http://sportsstats.cbc.ca/news/NHL-Recap-Roundups.aspx?date=12-16-2017
http://scores.nbcsports.msnbc.com/nh...p?day=20171216

Highlights had the battle of the natural disasters. The Lightning-Avalanche game was scoreless after twenty and then Tampa Bay had four Lightning strikes in four minutes. The third period had an Avalanche of goals as Colorado scored four times and nearly completed a comeback. Tampa Bay won 6-5 in regulation time.

Great slapshot by Ovechkin for the overtime winning goal.

Carter Hutton was amazing in net for the Blues as he stopped all 48 shots, Blues win 2-0 over the Jets in the first game of the home-away series.
