What happens first ?
The Flames are not playing to the potential everyone expected of them. We are slowly but surely moving down the standings, and are currently out of a playoff spot. We don't have a first this year and are low on high picks for the next couple years. Something drastic may happen soon what you guys think happens first ?
New head coach ? New PP Coach ? Trade ? GM Fired ?
I can't add a poll ?

Zero chance Treliving is fires midseason.
Gulutzan or a trade and to me it is 50-50. This team was supposed to contend for the division and now they are just hoping to be back on the bubble.
Just awful on home ice and as a season ticket holder that pisses me off to no end.

This is what I'm afraid of, desperation trade will almost always bite the team in the rear. 
What really pissed me off is they made a bad trade and THEN fire the coaches.

I do not foresee any midseason firings. Flames organization seems to go through a more thorough evaluation post season.
I do see a trade in the New Year becoming a distinct possibility if the losing persists

On January 31st the Flames will trade a young top four defence man and two ahl players to the Leafs for a third line centre and three plugs. It will not work out for the Flames.

Next year will be the 30th anniversary of the only cup win of this franchise.
Since then, they have gotten past the first round of the playoffs twice, and past the second round once.
There is no fear of failure. Mediocrity is clearly an acceptable, perhaps even valued position for this franchise.
At best, they'll make a dumb move (ie. trade for Kane) and get bounced in the first round.

What happens first depends on how the Flames do over the next 10 games. If the Flames win just 3 out of 10, Gulutzan is toast. If they win just 5 out of 10, a trade happens to add something to the roster. If they win 6 or more out of 10, nothing happens and the season goes on.

I have Jan 25 circled on the calender. That's the next time the Flames play the Oilers. If they are still outside the top 10 and lose that game then something happens.
