#Flames have recalled Rasmus Andersson, placed Travis Hamonic on IR.
Hopefully we see this after the Montreal game:
Giordano - Hamilton
Brodie - Stone
Kulak - Andersson

They ruled Hamonic out at 1 PM yesterday. More than enough time for Andersson to get to Calgary. He could have even taken the skate this morning.
Bartkowski is several tiers below NHL caliber. The only time he should play is when someone gets hurt in the pre-game warmup.

Really doesn't matter as he was not going to play right away anyways. Bart has been up and practising, regardless of when Andersson would be up he is missing at least the first game.

Nice paycheque for Andersson and a reward to Bartkowski who by all accounts has worked hard and been a great teammate while he's sat. It's one game against a mediocre team, I think the Flames will manage.

I thought the CBA mandated that you couldn't do this? Isn't that why Jamie Lundmark had to actually fly between Calgary and Abbostford without leaving the airport a few times back in the day to help us stay cap compliant?
