Default [**SPOILERS**] Stranger Things Season 2 [**SPOILERS**]

Looks like the second season of Stranger Things is official out according to Netflix.

This is going to be an unproductive weekend.

I really hate the "dump every episode" format. I'll have to avoid this thread for a few weeks, where I'd prefer to be able to talk about each episode.

I love/hate it. I love it for binging but hate it because it does stifle discussion. Its like you cant participate in this thread until you've watched it all.

If you thought this season would have a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention.

I find that most of the time the discussion though is mostly just complaining about how bad something was, or random guessing about what's going to happen next (which often has the potential to ruin any surprise).

We're largely Flames fans, its understandable that we have a pessimistically biased point of view. Our lives are just tragedy after another.

But yes, I get your point. We're living in an era where we have some of the best TV shows ever made and most of the 'discussion' is just whining that they're no good.

I am stoked for this season though. I dont think I'm alone in stating that when I was those kid's age I too went as a Ghostbuster for Halloween. I think I might even still have my Proton Pack stuffed in my parents' basement somewhere.

Yeah....I love you all, but much prefer to be actually able to watch the show at whatever pace I want. As opposed to having to wait a week for each episode but get between episode CP banter.

I'm into the 4th episode so far - season 2 is delivering.

Loved it. Some very cathartic moments. I'm watching S1 again ASAP so I can re-watch S2 again.

That is dedication.

My wife dragged me to pick out xcountry ski gear for the whole family before I got home. I haven’t been able to even watch a single episode yet.

I've recently changed to supporting the Netflix style releases simply because of this. I found I wasn't getting as much out of shows big moments when I've been reading what has been discussed to death on the internet between each episode on a weekly format. When I didn't read anything, there were way more surprises which makes the show way more enjoyable for me.

I'm up to episode 7 so far on Season 2 and really enjoying it. Definitely holds up nicely with Season 1 and I like the new additions to the overarching story they've added. Part of me wishes some characters were treated a little differently to show development but perhaps my mind will change by the end of the season.

Binged it today, didn't have time with work and the Flames yesterday. Loved the new season. I think I might like it more than the first. Very satisfied.

An aftershow for a series where all episodes are released simultaneously seems...odd.

Yeah, that was my wording. I guess more of an “after series” then.

I meant the entire concept, not your wording. Like what is it, 3-4 hours of cast interviews?

I've never watched any "post game shows" for any series, mind you.

I thought Winona was better this time around, and I liked Sean Astin too. This season was better thanks to the already developed characters. All in all, two excellent binges from this series.
