Icethetics is having a "Tournament of Logos". Current matchup: FLAMES vs RED WINGS

It's currently the second round of the bracket and the Flames are up against the Mighty Ducks. It's close, and if the Flames win it looks like they'll go up against the Wild.

Honestly, I love that old ducks logo. If it were the webbed foot "D" then it'd be an obvious Flames win, but in this case...

I think the Wild probably have the best logo.
It's really the only one that is creative. The colors are nice too.

I voted Flames but really because the Ducks don't actually use that logo (and I hate the black and orange verson of the Ducks.
That old Ducks logo is probably my favourite all time logo though.

That's the Leafs primary logo.
Technically, that's not the Flames primary either since it's the retro white with no black.
Also, there's no way the Leafs should be beating the Devils.

I am ashamed to say that I didn't even know the Wild logo was an animal until about a year ago. I thought it was some lame landscape ever since I was a kid. I like the creativity in it but it's not the best.

The Flames are ahead, but because Anaheim has home ice advantage, I assume Calgary will lose. We needed to have this played in Alberta.

They did an earlier vote to determine the best logo for each team, that's why ours is the retro and Colorado, Florida, and Anaheim have alternates.
For me, the best logos from a graphic design standpoint are:
1. Red Wings
2. Blues
3. Flames
4. Devils
5. Wild

I voted for the Wild because they have one of the best logos in the league and the Oilers have one of the worst.
