Since it falls on a Saturday, what day are you getting in lieu?

Friday would be nice to get a head start on brining and marinating meats, Monday would be nice to work through the hangover.

What do you got going on? What are you cooking? Drinking?

Was just talking to my partner about plans for that weekend and we realized we got different days off - I get the Friday and she gets the Monday. Weird.

Saturday we are going to head down to the river concert for Tegan and Sara!

Monday off for me.

But I beat the system. I'm taking the Friday off to drive 1300 km to my cabin for the following 8 days.

Monday followed by Friday for parade. If I wasn't gone from July 14-30 I'd take those 3 days off and stay at cabin
