I personally thin Mike Cammalleri was the greatest Flames player of Jewish background.

David Levin is the first Israeli born player to go #1 in the OHL draft. He is a top prospect heading towards the 2018 draft.

Josh Ho-Sang is on fire, after some maturity problems early in his career. His debut for the Islanders was very impressive.

Kesler is like a quarter Jewish I think, but we don't claim him for obvious reasons

Although slightly off topic, I thought it was kind of cool when Mike Keenan would spend time in the off seasons in Israel coaching and assisting with the development of their hockey program.

And if I recall correctly, last winter (or the year before) the Calgary Jewish Community hosted a number of Israeli teenage players, which involved exhibition games against Calgary minor hockey teams, a Flames game and a meet and greet with a couple Flames players.

Steve Dubinsky used to run hockey camps in Israel too.

Why is this a thread (again)?

Edit - NM. Thread obviously has interest to several posters. I withdraw any objection.
