Caps up 1-0 so far. Oshie on a nice PP passing play.
Shots are 9-1 for Washington so far with 5 minutes left in the first, wow.

Yikes Crosby, and 3 other players all collide and Crosby went headfirst into the boards.
Looked bad but he stayed on the ice. Ugly on the replay but thankfully he doesn't seem hurt.
Hornqvist took a skate to the face right after that too and has left.

A lot of media people wondering why he's still in the game. That's the kind of stuff the spotters are there for.

2-0 Caps now. Pens are gonna blow this series, aren't they.

Wonder if we're going to see classic playoff Fleury, that goal was bad.

Who is the NBCSN announcer? Like, he's not bad but he makes these Yoda-esque comments from time to time and it's kind of annoying. "Along the boards, again they must play". "The puck, he did pass, to Crosby". He just makes these clunky sentence constructions out of the blue when everything else he says seems to flow out normally. Maybe it's just me :|

Watching the Pens play tonight and I think the Canucks would be beating them.

Doc Emrick. He's weird as hell. He's always trying to invent hockey jargon.
He talks about defensemen shooting the puck off the "window" and goalies "waffleboarding" the puck to the corner.

Welp. As much as Fleury has not done his team any favors, doesn't look like anybody has showed up to play for the Pens.

What a brutal effort by the Pens. They look a lot like the Ducks from last night.

strange game... very surprised with the lack of shot generation by both teams, but especially Pittsburgh...
Big question for me is MAF... after the game 5 breakdown, i wonder if he's lost a bit of confidence.
they are definitely going high glove on MAF, just by the elbow it looks like...
sets up for an interesting game 7

Boy did that building ever empty out. There should be a fair bit of hype in the US regarding game seven of this series. Impressive game by the Capitals but can they do that in a game 7? We will find out.

His schtick, if we can call it that, is to be a human thesaurus. This is from the Sochi I think. His words for moving the puck.

I'm shocked the Caps were able to force 7. Thought for sure they were done. Is this the year they slay the dragon?
