Favorite moments from the 2016/17 season

Amongst the doom and gloom of getting swept in the first round, I thought it would be appropriate to reflect on some of the more positive, memorable moments of this past season. There were certainly ups and downs this year, and although the latest down is still fresh in our mind, the ups should not be forgotten:

My personal favorites:

- Tkachuk GWG in his first game after his nine game trial (Nov 3 vs San Jose)

- Johnson's Vezina run starting on November 15 (1-0 shutout against Minnesota) to save the season

- Johnny's GWG in overtime against Ottawa (Jan 26)

- Versteeg's two shootout GWG's against Pittsburgh (Feb 7 and Mar 13)

- Brodie's GWG in overtime against LA (Feb 28)

- Monahan's four goals in four games in the playoffs

There are others (the 10 game winning streak, the photobombs, etc.), but those are the moments and memories that stand out for me personally. Feel free to add.

I have got that whole 13 March game on my list. That was one of the best games I watched all year Leaguewide.

The Pittsburgh game. Versteeg's shootout winner, Johnny's beautiful goal - that was just great hockey and it ended with the hometown heroes raising their arms in victory. Great game.
