As long as you have good wifi it is pretty good. Usually is a bit behind the tv broadcast but close. I get mine for free every year because all my stuff is bundled with Rogers.

I pay and it sucks. 3/4 of the games are blacked out and I have to use a proxy to watch them. Absolutely frustrating!!!

I like it - had it for a couple years. Neat to get to see out market broadcasts as well.

I like it, except for the dozen or so games that were blacked out this year (In BC) and the absolutely horrible Xbone app

I despise GCL for the regular season. I get it for free on my Rogers plan.
I do not have cable, yet I would bet more than half of my games are blacked out. How do I watch the Flames then? Why am I being punished for not having a cable provider?
If I wasn't getting it for free I wouldn't pay for it. Junk product.

You want to watch the Flames upset the Ducks yet you were one of the people that voted for the Ducks to go 4-0 in the series? Hmm.

I like it, but the internet browser version blows. When using it on Kodi or Xbone, you get smooth 60 fps. It's glorious to watch. Unfortunately on Kodi, you can't wait an hour after the game has started to start watching. I like to do this to skip commercials. But no Kodi it has to be live. Another problem with Xbone/Kodi is that sometimes it will lag out and you need to refresh it. Annoying as hell, as it always happens at the worst possible time during the game.
Last night on Kodi, the game kept lagging and was choppy. So I switched to Chrome. But after watching 60fps in Kodi, the image quality was so poor compared to Kodi. Sure it wasn't choppy, but the image and sound quality reduced tenfold.
Overall it's a decent product, but with some annoyances. To me it's worth it since I was able to cut my cable completely, and being able to watch GC on my phone/laptop anywhere is sweet. But the blackouts are stupid as ####. 2017 and we still have that? Seriously, F you for making me use a VPN. Garbage decision. If there was another thing I'd fix, I'd like to see 60fps when watching through a browser. Why can't they do that? You can watch youtube/porn in 60fps. But not on GC in Chrome? Common, that's stupid. Or maybe someone does know a way to make it happen?

Isn't it pretty pointless to sign up for it now? All the playoff games are televised on either Sportsnet or CBC, so won't they be blacked out on GameCentre?
Also, wouldn't it be cheaper to buy Sportsnet Now if you don't have cable (or even cheaper if you know someone who subscribes to Sportsnet who will let you log in to Sportsnet Now using their info)?

Nope they are still blacked out. I've had to use VPN since the playoffs started.

Wouldn't CBC be streaming games that air on their channel which the Flames games do?

If you're in Canada NO games are blacked out on GameCentre.
But yes as others have said CBC games are available for free on their app.
