Default Power outage in NW Calgary
Power has been out at my house for 40 minutes. Lights in the far NW (crowfoot to beacon hill) are flashing, so probably wise to avoid the area.

Just heard on the radio that lots of intersections are without power still.

Apparently something blew up just before noon. I was in the backyard in Varsity cleaning my kid's bikes and heard a loud explosion sound. Our power was fine though.
