Since 8pm there's been a loud bang/thud every 30 seconds somewhere in the distance in the signal hill area. At first it sounded like fireworks. Is this somehow related to the sarcee glenmore "emergency" construction?
I can't think if anything else it would be. Very curious.

There's a vast amount of construction going where Glenmore and Sarcee combine. That's probably it.
It was hump day, what do you expect. You heard the rattle of head boards, and then you heard the sounds of thousands of remote control power on buttons being hit.

The first time I heard this I was moving a 500 L tank of gasoline with a bobcat and at the exact time I lightly bumped into a fence post the explosion went off (I had no idea they were doing this). For a half second I thought I had blown myself up. I then went inside to change my shorts.

I thought my neighbours kids were climbing on my recycling bins or banging on my wall.
I think I will continue to yell at them, it is better to be feared than loved.
