Some tactics listed in the story:
- Feignting sickness
- taking bags to the bathroom
- refusing to leave the bathroom
- refusing to take their seat when asked
- raced towards cockpit door
Some of these are obviously worse than others - racing towards the cockpit door and taking a bag to the bathroom aren't in the same league - but they're definitely all actions that need to be scrutinized. If done to an excess, I think the people doing this should be detained, arrested, and basically (at a minimum) prevented from flying again.
I think it's both good and bad that this security is being tested. It will identify problems and improve the security (a good thing), but it also signals that the terrorists are still out there and still want to harm people.
Thoughts?
