Celebrated Square Root Day
|
Watching LA the past few games it seems they're heading into their annual "Haha, you forgot we have Stanley Cup contending skill" mode. They look as good as Anaheim and San Jose these days, and it wouldn't surprise me one bit if Edmonton ended up being our actual competition for the Wildcard.
I would imagine St. Louis and LA both take division spots and Nashville and Edmonton are the targets for us to sneak in, which is concerning considering how far ahead Edmonton is, hopefully they continue to slide.

He could be just saying random words and it's better than half the Sportsnet commentators. The voice of my childhood.

It was a bad call but he didn't dive.

OMG! Did you see that dastardly Weber trip on McJesus? I didn't but Weber got a penalty. Sheesh, barely touch the saviour and he goes down with broken legs apparently. Love the fans booing him.

Well surprise, surprise!! McDavid has the refs in his back pocket again. Apparently he is not allowed to be touched.

Ok, I know it's fashionable to pick on Lucic and this is low hanging fruit but he is so slow. He might be a 4th line grinder making $6,000,000/year as early as next season.
I know Oilers fans have visions of the 80's dynasty dancing in their heads but they're way off. Those teams could come at you in waves. I don't see the current version being a tough out in the playoffs. You make things miserable for McDavid and you win.
