It has been a good game so far. Chicago scored first midway through the first period, goal from Hartman. The Blackhawks made it 2-0 early in the second period, goal from Schmaltz. Spurgeon scored just 37 seconds later to get the Wild on the board. Parise tied at 2-2 later on in the second period.

Shots were 10-10 after one period and 9-5 for the Wild in the second period so far.

Watching that piece between periods on Kenny Linesman was a trip down memory lane. It's amazing how different the NHL was back then. It was a gang fight back in the day.

It is weird how the Wild have beaten the Blackhawks eight consecutive times, but, cannot beat them in a playoff series.

The Wild are out shooting the Blackhawks now, 17-7 in the period.

Panik scores with Toews getting an assist makes it 3-2 Blackhawks late in the second period. Both have two points so far.

Well, that was one of the strangest video reviews I've ever seen.

Minnesota had the puck in the zone and Chicago cleared it out. The Wild players all moved to clear the zone and a Wild d-man passed the puck from the neutral zone to Coyle who was standing outside the zone at that point. Meanwhile, Parise was still on his way out of the zone when Coyle appeared to touch the puck with his stick, which was inside the zone, but Coyle himself wasn't in the zone. Parise cleared the zone before Coyle crossed the line himself.

They went in and scored. Chicago challenged, and after a lengthy review, it was ruled inconclusive.

It's a weird one because it would have been a delayed offside, so Parise can still be in the zone while the puck is in the zone as long as Coyle didn't touch the puck while Parise was offside. The linesmen had to determine where Parise's skates were when Coyle touched the puck. Because he was clearing the zone, he only had to be in contact with the blue line with one skate to be back onside. They ruled that it was inconclusive as to exactly when Coyle made contact with the puck.

The Wild owned that period in shots, 20-10. They still trail heading into the third period.

Great save by Crawford, but, on the next Wild rush there was interference by Staal which led to Haula's tying goal, 3-3 now.

The Wild do like playing their divisional opponents, they are 9-1-0 in the past ten games.

Breakway save by Crawford. The Wild keep control. This is nuts!

Kuemper standing tall but Toews gets the winning goal on the power play. Clutch!
