What's going on in Montreal? So many empty seats and it's a library in there. They used to have one of the best crowds in the league.

World juniors were a big disappointment as well.

Don Cherry suggesting Luongo might have let in the Sedin 1000 point goal on purpose.

The Islanders have a 2-0 lead on the Kings.

The Senators' Bobby Ryan has Ottawa up 1-0.

The Sabres and Habs are tied 1-1.

During the 2nd intermission, the panel talked about Bennett a little bit, saying when he was scratched last game there were a lot of calls to Treliving asking if he was available... Friedman said the answer was no. Then Kypreos added that Bennett hasn't been able to find a fit on the Flames and to not be surprised if he asks for a trade if things don't improve. Obviously, this was all speculation on his own part, but the frustrating thing is I bet others pick up on these comments and if Bennett indeed doesn't see improvement, that the "rumour" will be that he's looking to be moved, regardless how unfounded or unsubstantiated it is.

Also said how it was weird Treliving doesn't have a new contract and if the Flames want to keep him they should get something done...hinted that the Islanders will be looking for a new GM and maybe would want Treliving.

Those 3 guys are pretty good on that panel. Kypreos, Hrudy and Friedman...no blowhards. I can't believe how much Kypreos has changed. He is really good at what he does now.

Anders Lee scores his second power play goal of the game as the Islanders now have a 3-2 lead.

Great saves by Carey Price late in the third period. The Sabres and Habs are going into overtime.
