Schiefle has the Jets on the board, 2-1 Habs.

After twenty minutes, it is 1-1 in the Panthers-islanders game. Yandle and Leddy are the goal scorers and Luongo is in net against his former team. Jiggs McDonald is calling the game on the Islanders channel as he is honoured for fifty years in the business. http://www.newsday.com/sports/hockey...ampaign=buffer

Ovechkin scores, 1-0 Capitals just 35 seconds into the game and as mentioned in this thread, http://forum.calgarypuck.com/showthread.php?t=159459 it is Ovechkin's 1000 career point.

The Panthers have a 2-1 lead now.

Habs get 3 goals past Hellebyuck before he gets pulled. Now they put 2 more past Hutchinson.

Too bad the Flames didn't see this kind of leaky goaltending on Monday.

Lehkonen tips in a Weber shot to make it 6-3 Habs over Jets.

Ovechkin with his second goal of the game, 2-0 Capitals after forty minutes.

Jason Demers scored 69 seconds into the second period and that was the winning goal, 2-1 final score.

It is 7-4 Habs right now.

It seems that Hellebuyck is Hella inconsistent. At from what I've noticed, he will play a really good game and you think maybe he's turning the corner and then he comes right back with a stinker.

Of course I'm just looking at the box score on those games, so no idea if they are high quality chances on him or not.

I gather Buf had a weak game, compared to the strong game he had against the Flames (and similar to the weak game he had the time before).

I think Paul Maurice wanted to throw Big Buff's suit in the showers after this goal last night.

Remember when Hellebuyck was the top goalie prospect out there, and a sure fire, soon to be #1 for the Jets?

Not saying he still won't be, but it is important to remember that, when dealing with goalies, the laws of the known universe do not apply.

That's why I'm glad we have a whole bunch of goalie prospects now. And I really don't care which one is playing better this week or this year.

If we have enough of them, hopefully one of them will find his way to being a #1 on the big club at some point.

It is also why we shouldn't write off Elliott. It is entirely possible, and wouldn't be at all surprising, if he and Johnson do a complete reversal at some point.
