I'd love to see the Flames get off on the right foot and blow out the Avs 8-1. Iggy can get the lone Avs goal, just for old times sake. I'll be at this one too so Go Flames Go!

It should be a short mention IMO.
They did an awesome job when he first returned as a Bruin. That was seriously something special. They shouldn't try to recreate anything like that at this point.

Also wouldn't surprise me if they had a tribute to Joe Colborne tonight as well. While his playing career wasn't the longest or brightest, the kid went out of his way in the community.

These tributes are getting ridiculous. Kris Russell was bad enough, we don't have to welcome back every single guy that ever played here. It's cheesy and takes away from the value of players who deserve it, which IMO should be limited to players of Iginla's caliber.

The Flames need to move on imo. It would be nice to give him a ceremony once he has retired but ~20% of his 1500 games are not even with the Flames.
The Flames just seem like the desperate ex at this point and I hope that Iginla gets 0 points and him along with all of the other Avs players are dominated 15-0.

The Flames should be able to win this. Take advantage of a struggling team for some much needed two points.
Nashville could technically bump the Flames out of a WC spot with their games on hand. The Flames need to keep winning games in order to be a legit playoff team.

Are they just throwing Freddie a bone by letting him play against his old team? It should be pretty obvious now that Hathaway adds a positive contribution to this lineup.
Maybe he's just banged up.
