Default PGT: Ducks 3 Flames 1

2 wins in last 12 games vs Anaheim

Flames pushed around again and didn't know how to respond.

Meh, one of those games you just move on from.

Of the Flames next 12 games:

3 Games against a team currently in the playoff (San Jose, Edmonton x2)
8 Games are at home
The 12 games are spread out over 25 days and include only two back-to-backs, one of them a home and away with the Canucks. (Cheating a bit on this one as the Flames play the Canadiens in the "13th" game).

This is the easiest stretch that they will have and if they play like they have been it should result in a decent point percentage. If they don't have a strong January, they probably don't deserve to make the post-season.

No complaints about the effort. This was a close game. Could have gone the other way easily.

Well that 3rd period sucked.

I'm not sure if I'm more annoyed at Kesler, the refs or having to watch the homer Ducks broadcast.

Goddam I hate Kesler with the fire of a thousand suns.

Overall, the Flames played a pretty good game. Couldn't finish some key chances against Gibson and they lost the special teams battle.

Frustrating game between the reffing/all the penalties, the 0 on 2 miss, nothing doing on the PP etc. Kings lost tonight at least, but we need to beat some of these playoff caliber teams and create some more separation. Bounce back vs Arizona next game.

Two PP goals against. A little bit of interference on the first one, and undoubtedly interference on the second one.

After a nice, relaxing Christmas at my parents' house that was just what I needed to get my blood pressure and general stress levels back to normal.

Another showcase underlining why the NHL has the worst officiating in pro sports.

They were out worked and out muscled which is pretty well what you can say after every game they play the Ducks.

Just saw the first goal against - sure seemed like Perry bumped The Chad to me.
Ducks sure do get away with a lot.
The horse#### call against Ferland turned it in my opinion.

Ducks are not that good. Those are games we need to have.

Oh well guess we don't have to worry about any swastikas or other offensive symbols tonight.

They missed him a lot at even strength too. The guy drives the play like no other defenceman on this team.

The Wideman Effect strikes again. Absolutely horrible officiating. The amount of garbage Kesler got away with was a joke.

Not a terrible game by the flames, however it was over after the failed 2 on 0. They started playing physical and tough in the last 3 minutes after it was over. Someone in the GT said it best, we need to play a cheaper and dirtier game. The ducks get away with slashing, breaking Johnny's stick, and the facewashing call on ferland for the Kessler hit after the whistle. We won't consistently beat them by rolling over for 57 minutes a game.

Flames need to:

1. stop being baited.
2. start baiting the other team.
