Win tonight and we're back to .500 and within 1 point of Anaheim (though they still have 2 games in hand).

Let's get an actual win streak going to make things less gloomy around here.

Score twice in the first minute. Shutout the other team. Victory likely.

He'll replace it with a live post of his 'Around Gaskal's Section' report. He might even get an interview with the steward.

In their last 10 games against the Flames the Ducks are 9-1-0 scoring an average of 4.2 goals a game and have a 45% pp percentage.

Corey Perry hasn't scored in 17 games.

100% he scores tonight. He seems to score against the Flames every single game.

Hopefully getting Johnny back will lead us to a win!

sooo ... with Johnny back, who sits? Hamilton? Hathaway? Chiasson? I'd imagine lines would look something like:

Gaudreau - Monahan - Brouwer
Tkachuk - Backlund - Frolik
Bennett - Stajan - Versteeg
Ferland - Hamilton - Chiasson/Hathaway

This will be a tough one. Ducks are will be extra angry tonight after playing like garbage against the Oilers. Also the Flames never seem to have an answer for Getzlaf/Perry. If we get at least a point out of this game, I'll be happy.

I think Hathaway sits. Chiasson has roughly the same game with a little more goal scoring ability, but less feistiness.

Would prefer to keep Versteeg with Monahan. They've been good together.

Gaudreau - Monahan - Versteeg
Tkachuk - Backlund - Frolik
Bennett - Stajan - Brouwer

The important question, should I risk the snowy traffic but park downtown underground in the warmth? Or should I park outside in the cold but take the train?

I hope not. Thought he played really well against the Wild and had them hemmed in for shifts at a time.
