The Sharks have a 2-0 lead after forty minutes. Both goals came in the first period, Burns on the power play and Pavelski in the last minute. Thornton has two assists and Pavelski with two points. Martin Jones has been stellar in net for the Sharks with amazing saves.

That high stick to Radulov was by Couture and was called for a 4:00 minute penalty. "I was just going to the net and I think their guy was trying to protect the slot area and not let me in and it's just part of the game," Radulov said, sporting a few stitches above his right eye.
