My good friends are at the Children's Hospital with their new baby who has some complications. I told them I'd bring them dinner tonight since they are here from out of town. I figure they could use a hug and a decent meal. Normally I'm all about homemade comfort food but I'm in a bind and have no time to make something. Kinda late but I thought I'd give the CP collective brain trust a try.
Any suggestions where I could pick up a decent meal nearby? I am not familiar with that area at all.
Gus's (yes they have incorrectly used the plural apostrophe) has good pizza and pasta dishes, but I don't know how late they are open. It's in the Foothills professional building across 16 Ave from Tim Horton's.
Moose McGuire also does takeout, don't know how that stands up to time though.

You can even pick up most of a ready made meal at Safeway over at Market Mall. There is a kitchen they can utilize as well, on the 2nd floor in the lounge. If there are leftovers, they can put them in the fridge as long as they mark their names on the items. There is a note on the fridge door with the instructions and information.

Thanks for your help guys. I gave Gus's a try and it worked out really well. More importantly they got some good news this afternoon on the baby front. So all in all a very successful visit!
