Sam Gagner has scored his 7th goal already. He scored 8 goals in 53 games last season.
Blue Jackets have gotten full value from him this season.

Grabner with his 11th. 2-1 Jackets.
Talk about getting value... Grabner has probably been the biggest Cinderella story so far.

He needed 2 years to shake the stink off, like Dubnyk, and is now on pace for the best season of his career. Good for him. I wasnt sure if he'd make it another couple years in this league.

really happy for him. Had doubts if he'd get another deal after that Leafs season, but boy was I wrong. Hope he'll keep it up.
this summer was actually really good for the Austrian NHL players. Raffl got a good deal in Philly, he just needs to stay healthy. Same goes for Vanek, who had a fantastic start in Detroit before being injured. Should be back in a few days, hopefully he can pick up where he left.

That Calvert story in Columbus was awesome. Takes a puck to the face, is bleeding everywhere. Is he done for the night? Hell no! He's a hockey player!
Comes back and scores a goal on a 2 on 1 with a bandage wrapped around his forehead. That's a warrior.

The clip is suitable for work, but not for those who get queasy.
Calvert's injury resulted in a tonne of blood on the ice, then he comes back to score the game winner? 36 stitches above his eye, face wrapped up like he's on the front lines of a war, and then is back on the PK.
They'll be talking about that for decades

Ryan Whitney's comment on this:
"Lebron would've been out for 3 months!"
I don't like picking on another sports superstar, but I still chucked.
