Freddie H imo will get the shot over Klimchuk. I'd rather see Hunter come up though.

Think Hathaway might be the most likely recall, or Freddie Hamilton will just slot into the lineup.

That looks like a pulled groin.

One name which nobody has brought up: Daniel Pribyl.

He probably needs more seasoning in the AHL before getting a sniff, lots of players to pass before he gets a shot.

He's played more pro hockey than most of the kids everyone would want to call up. The only adjustment he might need to make is to the North American style of game. However, he's already producing pretty well in a short amount of time.
I would have no problem with most likely call ups, but Pribyl actually makes a lot of sense.

Can't ask Freddie Hamilton to replace what Versteeg brings - you need someone who can play with the puck on his stick.
Any of Prybl, Klimchuk, Shinkaruk Jankowski or Eat Bread - whoever's playing best.

Versteeg leaves Sharks game injured
I don't think the Flames have any cap room to call up anyone without doing a cap move first. Time for Smid to go on LTIR or someone to go down to Stockton, I guess

Even if Hamilton goes in they need to call someone up right?

Versteeg doesn't look to becoming back anytime soon, that did not look good. Lots of chances I think to see a couple of guys called up.

Hathaway would be my first call up. He looked great in camp.

With Ferland's game as of late...
Tkachuk - Backlund - Frolik
Ferland - Bennett - Brouwer
Gaudreau - Monahan - MAGIC BEANS
Bouma - Stajan - Hamilton/Chiasson

Time to pull the trigger on the long standing Wideman for Iggy trade.

It's going to be interesting to see how they manage the cap on a call-up here. They have no space unless Smid goes on LTIR. It's too bad they can't paper Smid to the AHL to free up 900k and use that for a player.

And Shinkaruk should play with Johnny/Mony. They worked in their 10ish game tryout.
