Anaheim Ducks Waive Mason Raymond
Looks like changes are occurring quickly for the Ducks. We will see what happens with that veteran group but a former Flame who is still on the payroll for this season and next is on his way to the AHL.

Too bad that Raymond never lived up to his good start, but soft players with speed as their only asset have to bring other things to the table, either production or be a top defensive player/penalty killer. Raymond does neither.

Who cares. He whined when he was bought out and took zero responsibility and basically blamed Hartley.
He should have manned up and maybe he would have gotten some respect around here.

Just a shame that Mason wasn't the same player after that serious back injury that he suffered in the 2011 SCF against the Bruins.

I don't think anyone is crapping on him because he is from Cochrane, more so because he sucked for the Flames (also see Grossman, Wideman, Butler, etc.)
Refusing to look at home-town players with a critical eye would be much worse IMO
