Sigh. First time watching Edmonton and they actually look pretty decent.
I don't see anything in their play that points to dropping off massively.
Sure they won't continue their current play but damn this sucks.

In the second period
The Capitals lead 2--0 over the Jets, their former division rivals.

The stinkin' Leafs are up 2-1 over the Sabres and it is tied 1-1 in the Oilers-Rangers game.

The Canucks and Senators are scoreless after twenty minutes.

Hilarious how fast McDavid is and then let's Hayes fly by him like he's not even skating leading to the 2-2 goal.

Remenda is such a tool. He's surpassed Hughson in terms of homerism. Perfect angling out and bodycheck by Rangers D is "big league obstruction" according to him. Idiot.

Oiler fans can never take criticism without referencing the Flames. It's pretty sad but to be expected from fans looking for validation on another team's forum.

Complaining about latest call. He is the worst of any team. He was awful working for the Sharks and that short CBC stint.

I know it is your thing to defend anything and everything Oiler related...but can you honestly compare Hrudey to Remenda?

Remenda is awful, embarrassing.

That fourth goal was on McDavid. He had a chance to block it but chickened out.

You're obviously being facetious or are brain damaged. Ball and Hrudy call a great game with a slight slant to the Flames, which is appropriate given it's a regional broadcast. Quinn and especially Remenda, fellate the Oilers at every turn and anything against them is a gross injustice.
