So we have a Jayman (yay!) house that had a centravac roughed in.
I installed the unit and hooked up the wire and, perhaps not surprisingly, it did not work.
The basement outlet does not have a wire, the main floor was moved in a reno and we don't know where the wire runs, as it does not seem to be coming out in the basement, and the upstairs outlet has a wire but does not work.
Of course, the basement is finished but I would be able to cut out a section of drywall where the pipe comes down to the basement for access. It some from the upper floor and then makes a right turn to go about 20 feet to the furnace room where the pipe comes out and the vacuum is installed.
My question, does anyone on here do, or know someone that does, installs or electrical work that would be able to either diagnose this problem or be able to run new wires in wall?
I am hoping with the right skill set this is a relatively simple project. Not too interested in ripping drywall on upper floors to install a stupid vacuum.
Thanks in advance!
