The Evil Dead movie franchise has officially crossed over to television with a 10-episode straight-to-series order from Starz for a 2015 premiere. Titled Ash Vs. Evil Dead, the followup to the classic film franchise reteams the original filmmakers, director Sam Raimi, longtime producing partner Rob Tapert and star Bruce Campbell who will serve as executive producers. Campbell will be reprising his role as Ash, the stock boy, aging lothario and chainsaw-handed monster hunter who has spent the last 30 years avoiding responsibility, maturity and the terrors of the Evil Dead. When a Deadite plague threatens to destroy all of mankind, Ash is finally forced to face his demons –personal and literal.

^ Haha, couldn't tell by your avatar or anything.
Sam Raimi is in, therefore I am in. And as for Bruce Campbell, he's been pretty decent on Burn Notice, so I'm confident he can carry a show, especially this character.
As long as it's not completely awful (and it won't be) I'll be watching every episode.

I was just going to ask what channel this is, but it must be on one of those bigger packages?
Ahh ok I did some reading, I watched Army of Darkness as a kid and loved it, but never the Evil Dead movies. I guess I didn't realize they were connected.
"Lets get the hell out of here!!!" Is a quote I still use to this day.. good stuff.
And whenever I think about product placement in shows and movies I always, always think back to the scene where he opens his trunk with the bottle of Coke sitting there.

Well its a sequel to evil dead part two, which was pretty much a remake of evil dead part 1, which was a remake of a earlier film that I think was called "Into the Woods"
