Red Wings season preview
Detroit opens their season against Florida tomorrow with not a lot of change from last season.
Free agent signings starting with the team are:
Patrick Elias is a new addition that may end up being a buyout as he has no team yet... 1 year deal for him as well... Ramo as a backup is the new backup instead of Emery ... So a lateral move there.
Like last season - Dan Boyle is in and out (retired now) d'oh! .. Worth a shot at a top 6 dman for relatively cheap cost (probably could of had cheaper....)

Going into the season much the same result of last season is expected, a non playoff team. Moves going forward are most likely going to include upgrading the defense
