Now this is the Oilers we all know and despise. 2-0 Buffalo midway through the first. Lucic should have had an unsportsmanlike penalty for shooting the puck into the net after the whistle.

Lucic should be sitting for a few for that elbow.

Major cheap shot by Lucic goes undetected by the refs.

Bounced fine, but then hit Talbot's stick where it changed direction.
Lucic doesn't get benefit of doubt with that hit either.

Also, maybe it's the lack of a tin can roof but this new rink seems very quiet, must be the anti-jersey toss measures that that've implemented.

Buffalo is doing a fantastic job shutting down McDavid. No time or space. Take note Gulutzan.

Rubbed McDavid out on the boards a couple times. Sabres are doing great.

It looks like it bounced, Talbot went to block it and it hit the blade of his stick and went in https://twitter.com/myregularface/st...571072?lang=en

Yup, Buffalo is a weaker team than us but the systems/coaching is better right now. They are playing the oilers the way you have to. Eliminate time, and don't stop moving your feet.
