Heat sign Falkovsky, Aagard, Doetzel. Adam, Robak, Grigorev accept AHL tryouts
Stockton Heat @AHLHeat
The Heat sign 3 - Aagaard, Doetzel, Falkovsky - & invite three more to camp on tryouts.
http://stocktonheat.com/news/heat-si...o-camp-roster/
Quote:
The Stockton Heat, proudly owned by the NHL’s Calgary Flames, announce the signing of current camp attendees Mikkel Aagard, Kayle Doetzel to AHL contracts and Stepan Falkovsky to an AHL/ECHL contract. The team also has invited forward Luke Adam, defenseman Colby Robak and defenseman Mikhail Grigorev to attend Heat camp on tryouts.

So the question as to where Falkovsky will play has been answered. May get demoted to the ECHL if need be.

And strangely enough Doetzel was with the Oilers on a tryout in Penticton. IIRC he fought Smith.

not one bit. Flames still have until June 2018 to sign him to a ELC provided they make a bona fide offer at the end of this season.

Heat release Adam from his tryout. Assign McDonald to the ECHL (which was expected with Rittich being assigned).
