Looks like Parsons will get the start in net. Probably his one game before getting sent back to London.

Parsons and Elliott your goaltenders this morning. Parsons working in the starter's net. #Flames

Now, Roger is saying Elliott will get the start. So, I guess we'll wait and see what the coach says.

Flames D-G - Wotherspoon Engelland- Giordano Hamilton- Kylington Wideman . Elliott starts in Goal- Parsons.

Forward lines from practice.

Aaron Vickers ‏@AAVickers

#Flames lines: Klimchuk-Jankowski-Hathaway; Tkachuk-Bennett-Brouwer; Higgins-Hamilton-Chiasson; Shinkaruk-Stajan-Ferland.

The one consistency all camp has been the Tkachuk-Bennett-Brouwer line.

The NHL still uses paper? They know email is a thing right?

I'm sad because it really looks like Nakladal is not going to be a Flame.

Who will take Tkachuk's spot when he's sent back to junior?

Poor Sven and Granlund. Prepare for defeat tonight and many seasons of disappointment to come.

Probably Ferland. But I wouldn't count on Tkachuk going back to junior.

Our 2nd line on opening night perhaps? Could be a beauty.

Pretty ugly roster from the Nucks.

Pretty much every bubble player for the Flames is in tonight -- a clear "put up or shut up" type game. It will be very interesting to see who shines.

Either the Flames are waiting for the Gaudreau domino to fall before they pull the trigger on Nak or Russell to come into lineup or they are giving Wotherspoon a legitimate chance to make the team and can't guarantee Nakladal a full time gig in Calgary.

IMO its most likely option 1.

Looking forward to watching some Flames hockey on TV tonight though!

It is too bad that the new saviour, Troy Stetcher, is not in the lineup for Vancouver tonight.

SN1? Sweet, finally get to see some Flames hockey. Really looking forward to seeing some of the young guys play, especially Janko.
