Any word on Peter Loubardias?
I really like the guy and the way he calls the game. I think he is a true pro and demonstrated that in spades when Derek Wills first started.
I haven't seen any updates on where he is at, what's going on, or how he is doing.
Whatever it is, I hope it isn't serious for him or his family and look forward to hearing him again soon.
Anyone have an update?

Hope he's okay. True class guy, and a knowledgeable member of the Sportsnet team. My lady just went through chemo and is back working. Not sure what's going on, but sounds like he's a fighter himself and will hopefully pull through whatever the heck this is.

best wishes to him. While I don't usually agree with him much during the Steinberg and Loubardias debates, I absolutely love listening to the two of them debate issues surrounding the Flames. Both have different perspectives on a bunch of issues and it's really enjoyable and love hearing them respectfully argue with each other.
Hope he comes back soon!

I wish the Fan had someone filling in for Lou while he recovers (godspeed) because it sounds even more awkward with Wills just talking to himself, especially things like the keys to victory.
I cringe when I listen and he's all by himself.

I was watching on tv Saturday, but wasn't Steinberg going to join him? If so, I would guess Steinberg finishes the season with him too.

Steinberg has been doing the colour when the games are at the Dome. I would assume his commitments with doing the away games at Schanks prevents him from traveling with the team.

I didn't watch or listen to the game on Saturday, the last one I heard was the Kings game when I was in the car for a bit.

Sorry to hear this about him. I really enjoy Lou's enthusiasm and knowledge of the game.
His passionate defense of Russell has been borne out somewhat. They guy returned a king's ransom in trade and now is playing huge minutes for a Stanley Cup contender.
