For player position additions, I just want to clarify...
Are the current positions listed in the roster file, here, set in stone (and not being changed) and we are only adding additional positions on top of those one(s) currently listed?

Yes you only need to ask for additions. No need to prove any position already listed.

Good question. I'm on V3.0 but let me know if when you try to load the file if it doesn't work. I may have to update the core sim.

Okay, I just noticed after submitting changes in an email that the actual roster positions they are listed as on the website's roster page ( http://cphl.calgarypuck.com/rosters/fla.htm) are not reflected on this page http://cphl.calgarypuck.com/pages/si...eamRoster.html
With the roster positions on the team page, they were accurate at some point but some players like Marleau being a RW like he is on that page. However, I can only find him as a LW. Does that mean that the current roster page's positions are now inaccurate? (namely because that means I have will have 6 C, 3 RW and 3 LW and that is after swapping their positions to maximize the roster)

What is on the website doesn't matter anymore. Just what's in the sim.

Is there a way to find a player that's missing from your roster in the sim? The built in player search doesn't show position, the position code (3) the sim outputs seems to match John Mitchell being C/LW but I want to make sure before I submit changes.

So we can't use sites such as eliteprospects anymore for references of position? Often times they give an accurate account of which position the player is/has played in the past.

That was the one site that seemed like an omission that should be used as well.

Yeah if you can't find the player use the output file. It should be accurate.

Sure - don't want to add a bunch, but that one seems fair. We will allow that one.

Got a text about this one
Do you need to worry about whether a player is on the farm or CPHL in the sim?
Not that this point. It WILL matter when the season starts, as players can only play if they are on your CPHL roster on the site and in the sim. But you can call players up and down in both yourself. The key is that they match.
But that isn't a requirement now, or something the league needs to correct for you.
