Year and a half we moved in together.
Similar as you though, was more of a change in circumstances that we both had to move the same month and decided to go for it...
As for marrying.. Maybe sometime soon.

We dated long distance for a few years. I was in the U.S. and she was in Calgary. When I came back to Canada, we bought a place right away. That was an adjustment let me tell you. For us both.
We were married a couple of years later. Two kids now and very happy. In fact, we just celebrated our ten year wedding anniversary. Sometimes long distance relationships work out.

One year (a long time ago), we're still teenagers when we moved in together. (now ex wife)
Recently moved in with the current girlfriend, that too was after a year of dating.

Just over a year before we moved in together. It worked out as both of us had our leases up at the same time. No marriage, and it's been 10 years. Neither of us feel it's necessary, things are going great as they are. I honestly don't really get marriage or why people feel they need it (unless religion plays a factor).

Moved in after two months as I waited to leave for school. Went long distance for a bit and then married after 5 years together.

Moved in together quite quickly, around 2-3 months or so. Then I waited 6 and a half years to pop the question.
For whatever reason the moving in decision was easy and made perfect sense. We both wanted to see each other basically every day anyway, so why wait? I wonder what that means when it took so long for me to ask her to marry me.

3ish years?
Dated a little over a year, we both moved away for school (different cities). Her program was 2 years, mine 3, so after her two years she moved in with me for 3-4 months then landed a job back home. Then after I graduated we got a place together. Been there ever since.
We got engaged during my last semester of school.
So yeah 2.5ish years I guess.

Were dating for about 6 months when we both needed a roommate.
Lived together for about 1 year before getting engaged. Married six months later.

Dated for close to year.
It was too soon but it made sense since she lived at home when I bought my place. No point of her staying there.

got married after a year of dating and moved in together once married......we really tried to get to know each other the first few months and both knew what we wanted so it didn't take long to realize we would spend the rest of our lives together

My wife and I dated for about 7 years and one of those years she was away for school in Thunder Bay. When she got back to Calgary we lived together for about 1.5 years and then got married. We just celebrated our eleventh wedding anniversary earlier this month.

How long did you date your wife/husband/partner before moving in together?
5 months of dating (needed a room mate). Bought a house together 2 years later, and I proposed the evening before moving day. Got married 20 months later. Married 17 years now.

Dated for 4 years, never moved in together. Talked about it near the end, but that was about it. Now I get to live by myself and not have to worry about that conversation anymore!
