Not signed yet but Coyotes & Radim Vrbata have agreed to a one-year deal with a base salary of $1 million. Deal will have bonuses.

Good for him. He had his best years there, should finish up there and will probably be a good mentor to some young guys in the process.

Would have loved that for the flames, we need RW, he's not huge but he's not small and he's skilled. Had a pretty damn good season two years ago.

Craig Morgan @craigsmorgan
League source says deal could be worth up to $3 million w/bonuses for games played, goals, points + playoff bonuses.

The guy straight up quit in Vancouver because he wasn't being given first line minutes while he played like hot garbage. He is literally the last guy I'd want showing my young guys "the process". I was mortified when there were rumours the Canucks were doubling back to him.

The only have room in their lineup for one player whose last name begins with "V".

I don't disagree, but I think he played with very little heart in the 2015 playoffs as well. He got his points, but he was such a non-factor in that series. He just seemed to refuse to take the hit to make the play, and of his 2 goals in the series 1 was on the pp (with the twins) and the other was an empty net.

I initially thought that Vrbata was a great contract steal for Vancouver because, if the team was actually sinking, he'd return a decent pick at last years deadline. I really didn't expect him to play so poorly this year that his GM couldn't find a taker, but who really wants a butter soft scorer who can't score?

On a side note: Have the Sedins ever had a winger who managed a respectable career after playing with them? I can remember them playing with A. Carter, Pyatt, Burrows, Vrbata and now Hansen. I'm sure there could be others but there's probably a reason I'm not remembering them.

After looking it up, Markus Naslund, Mikael Samuelsson and Ryan Kesler are the only players you didn't mention to have spent more than 400 ES minutes with them in the last 9 years.
