are these replica or authentic jerseys? They looks a little orange, like the replica jerseys on NHL.com.
EDIT: They don't have the shoulder patches, thinking they're not legit.

I think it's just the angle that the photo is taken at. It looks like it is a legitimate replica jersey.

Jersey City employee told me they're going back to retro 3rds a couple days ago. So that's employees at different stores (fan attic and jersey city) both claiming this now.

A company like Lids/Jersey City isn't going to sell fakes. It looks like the shoulders are pulled back, so the patches are on the backside of the display.
These aren't "Authentic" in the sense that they're the same as the players wear on the ice, but they are legitimate "Premiere" jerseys like you'd buy at Jersey City, Sport Chek, or the FanAttic.

Hate the black. Hate the word mark. Those weird shoulder patches. All awful.
They need to do away with our current regular jerseys too. We are the only club still using a late 90s/early 2000s design. That was a true dead-zone for graphic design. Everything was black and "edgy" and also done with awful computer graphics.
The retros should be home and away. Introduce a new design for 3rds.

The shoulder patches are the only redeeming quality of this Jersey. They're beautiful and simple in design, the only thing that looks like it wasn't designed by a committee. The "F L A M E S" arching over top might be much but I'd love a hat or a t shirt with just that logo.

I really don't think they'd look bad if they ditched the wordmark logo and weird font for the namebars and numbers.
But, they didn't do that, so I don't want one. Really hoping that the rumours of all these stores clearing them out because they're discontinued are true

I actually don't mind the design, but the use of the shoulder pads. They put them on the trapezius area in the black reagion, not the shoulders. It doesn't really fit with the motif of the rest of the jersey either. These jerseys also have "shoulder" patches and numbers on the arms, which is way too much.

No, it's a real jersey, it's not an authentic on-ice.
Authentic = Literally the jersey the players wear. Sewn on details (shoulder patches, etc) and crest. Heavier and more durable fabric and stitching. Cut to fit over equipment.
Premier/Replica = Duplicates the look of the on-ice product, less durable fabric, screen-printed or heat pressed details. Casual fit, not designed to fit over equipment. Crest is not sewn on.
Both are very much 'real' jerseys. They're both licensed and produced by Reebok.
A replica is nothing close to a fake/knock-off. And guaranteed what Lids is selling is the Premier/Replica.
